The two-day University Management System (UMS) training session concluded successfully today at AJ&K University of Bhimber. On the final day, the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Brig. Dr. Muhammad Younas Javed, was given a comprehensive briefing on the progress, performance, and key outcomes of the digitalization initiative.
During the training, faculty members, administrative staff, and departmental focal persons participated in hands-on sessions covering major modules of the UMS — designed to create a fully digital, transparent, and data-driven institution.
These modules are fully configurable to meet university policies and can integrate with existing systems (biometrics, ERP, or third-party services). The UMS also supports role-based access, audit trails, and data import/export to accelerate adoption and maintain compliance.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the dedicated efforts of Dr. Abid Hussain, Registrar, Dr. Saim Hashmi, Treasurer, all Directors, and the entire UOB team for their active participation. Special acknowledgement was extended to Mr. Muhammad Tariq Riaz, CEO (Softpitch Information & Technology, Layyah), Mr. Muhammad Atif Naeem, Master Trainer (UMS), and Mr. Ehtsham Ul Haq Raja, UMS Team Leader, for outstanding coordination and leadership.
