Two Days Training on University Management System (UMS)

The two-day University Management System (UMS) training session concluded successfully today at AJ&K University of Bhimber. On the final day, the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Brig. Dr. Muhammad Younas Javed, was given a comprehensive briefing on the progress, performance, and key outcomes of the digitalization initiative.

During the training, faculty members, administrative staff, and departmental focal persons participated in hands-on sessions covering major modules of the UMS — designed to create a fully digital, transparent, and data-driven institution.

  • Academic Management: Course allocation, timetabling, student registration, batch management, degree audit.
  • Examinations: Online assessment submission, paper-setting workflows, secure result processing, transcripts & grade cards.
  • Financials: Fee collection, fund & budget management, payroll, vendor payments, and audit-ready financial reports.
  • HR & Attendance: Employee records, leave management, biometric integration, and appointment history.
  • Student Services: Online applications, hostel occupancy, transport scheduling, complaint tracking.
  • Dashboards & Reporting: Real-time analytics, KPI monitoring, custom reports for accreditation and governance.

These modules are fully configurable to meet university policies and can integrate with existing systems (biometrics, ERP, or third-party services). The UMS also supports role-based access, audit trails, and data import/export to accelerate adoption and maintain compliance.
